Privacy Policy

Effective

This Privacy Policy explains how Hot Girl Anthems, a sister brand of AI Anthems, handles information when you visit hotgirlanthems.com, listen to music, vote in The Heat Index, contact us, or use the website.

Information you provide

If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can respond to your inquiry. The form also sends a submission-start time and an anti-spam field to help prevent automated abuse. Contact-form messages are delivered through Resend. If you email us directly, our email provider processes the address and information you include so we can reply.

Orders through the Hot Girl Anthems store are fulfilled by AI Anthems. When you follow a checkout link, the payment provider handles the information you submit under its own privacy policy. AI Anthems may receive order and contact information needed to fulfill your purchase. See our delivery, revisions, and terms and the AI Anthems Privacy Policy.

Technical information and service providers

We and our infrastructure providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested URLs, timestamps, and network or delivery records to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

Vercel provides hosting and Web Analytics, Cloudflare provides media storage and delivery, Supabase supports our catalog and Heat Index poll, and Resend delivers contact-form emails. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services. Request logs are separate from the limited fields stored in our poll records.

Favorites, saved listening, and browser preferences

Favorites are saved as song identifiers in your browser’s local storage. The radio player also saves queue identifiers, the current track, playback position, and a mix or collection label so you can continue listening. These saved choices stay in that browser; there is no Hot Girl Anthems account or cross-device library sync.

Local storage also remembers your light or dark appearance choice. These local records have no automatic expiry in the website’s code. You can remove individual favorites with their favorite buttons, dismiss a restored listening session with its dismiss control, or clear this website’s data in your browser settings to remove stored listening information and preferences. If storage is blocked, some preferences may work only for the current visit.

For restricted content, session storage remembers that you acknowledged an 18+ notice. It stores a confirmation flag, not your age or date of birth. Acknowledging the notice is not identity or age verification.

Personal mixes

My Mixes saves mix names, song identifiers, and their chosen order in this browser’s local storage. Mixes stay on this device, have no automatic expiry, and do not sync to an account or another device. On the My Mixes page, you can rename a mix, remove songs, or delete a mix. Clearing this website’s browser data removes all saved mixes. If storage is blocked, mixes are available only during the current visit. Mix names are not included in our listening analytics.

The Heat Index: voting and cookies

The Heat Index on the homepage and its dedicated page uses the same shared poll. Loading the poll creates or reads a first-party browser cookie containing a signed random voting token. This cookie lets the poll remember your choice and limit repeated votes from the same browser. It is configured to last up to 1 year and may be renewed when you load the poll. In production it uses Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax protections.

When you vote, Supabase stores the poll identifier, a derived hash of the browser’s voting identifier, your selected candidate, and a timestamp. The poll record does not contain your name, email address, raw IP address, or browser user-agent string. Public results show aggregate vote counts and percentages, not individual ballot records.

Blocking or deleting the cookie can prevent the site from remembering your choice. Clearing browser data does not remove a vote already recorded on the server, and the cookie’s expiry does not automatically delete the vote record. For questions or a deletion request, contact us; because we do not collect a voter’s name or email, identifying a particular ballot may not be possible once its browser cookie is lost. This is a casual fan poll, not verified one-person-one-vote voting.

Analytics and listening measurements

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits and listening activity. Vercel describes this service as using request-derived hashes rather than third-party analytics cookies, with visitor identification discarded after 24 hours. Analytics can include page URLs, referrers, approximate location, browser and device details, and event timestamps. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information.

Our player reports successful playback starts, 30-second and 2-minute listening milestones, natural finishes, and saved-session resumes. These events contain a public song identifier and listening source, such as a station, mix, subject, Favorites, or the homepage. They do not contain your saved queue, playback position, contact-form name, email address, message, or poll voting token. Query strings and URL fragments are removed from the analytics URLs we send.

Analytics are separate from saved listening data in your browser. Clearing browser data does not delete analytics events already sent. Playback and Favorites continue to work if analytics are blocked by your browser or extensions.

YouTube, media, and external links

Artwork and audio are delivered by our hosting and media providers when requested. Embedded YouTube players load when you choose to open a video, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Loading or playing a video still connects your browser to YouTube and Google, which may process your IP address, browser details, and player interactions under Google’s Privacy Policy.

Links to social platforms, other music sites, and checkout services take you to third parties with their own privacy policies and terms.

How we use and share information

We use information to deliver music and website features, remember your choices, count poll votes, respond to inquiries, fulfill orders, understand aggregate engagement, prevent abuse, resolve technical problems, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Hot Girl Anthems does not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers as needed to operate these features, when required by law or legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer.

Retention and security

We retain server-side information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including maintaining poll integrity, responding to inquiries, keeping business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. The poll implementation does not set an automatic expiry for recorded ballots. Browser storage remains subject to the controls described above, while providers apply their own service retention practices.

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information. No online service or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser, remove Favorites, change appearance settings, and choose whether to open external media. Blocking storage may limit features that remember your choices.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or other privacy rights. To ask a question or make a request, email contact@hotgirlanthems.com or use the Hot Girl Anthems contact page. We may need information to verify and locate the relevant records. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

Children’s privacy

Hot Girl Anthems is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some content is restricted to adults and requires an 18+ acknowledgment. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the situation.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the website and its services change. The effective date above identifies this version.
